Steampunk: Steam Gear Rex
This project happened by accident, originally I wanted to create the fight scene on top of Rex from Metal Gear Solid 1. However after only sculpting clay around the head I had made from balsa wood it was obvious it would cost me a fortune to make. Chestnut advised to keep the head I had made from wood as I might be able to use it, so I did. Then a little while later I had a vision of Steam Gear Rex.
I have used a load of different material for this project, from hospital equipment to tattoo needle heads. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out.
